 Artist Statement-Kyle Ray

ARTIST STATEMENT "Perspectivist"- From the age of 10 years onwards, I have been persuing the cretaive act of art. Sharpening my skills in such mediums as pastels, oil colours, acrylics, watercolours, cut paper, stained glass, mosaic, sculpting, and glass fusing. In so doing, creating landscapes, still-lifes, and portraits in styles as versitile as impressionism, photorealism, modern, graphic, and contemporary. I really enjoy blending differing, seemingly unrelated disciplines together to create a visually appealing perspective.
BIO Kyle
Ray began his art career as an illustrator in the army in 1980. He studied fine art in Denver Colorado, landed in New Mexico in 1986, soon after gained
his state general contractor's license. In the early 90's he began
his journey with glass, engaging in many forms such as glass painting, mosaics and fusing. Kyle's union of talents and skills allow him to complete works that extend from residential to public art as well as fine craft.
